Move4Nature 2025 kicks off in Vilnius, Lithuania with a partners meeting

Move for yourself, your health and for nature.

The Move4Nature 2025 edition officially kicked off this weekend, 15–17 March 2025, in Vilnius, Lithuania. This year, the project is co-funded and implemented as an Erasmus+ Sport not-for-profit event.

The partners of the project, Institut Impact, ENGSO Youth, AJSPT Suecava and Širvintų sporto klubas met to discuss the upcoming activities which will be implemented within the project.

Throughout the project, the team will develop three different educational toolkits and materials, organise training events for coaches, and, most importantly, inspire thousands of Europeans to join the Move4Nature movement – taking part in a hike combined with a clean-up activity.

What is Move4Nature?

The Move4Nature initiative is a network of local events taking place across Europe. The aim is to collect as many kilometres walked and kilograms of waste cleaned up as possible over the course of one year.

Who can take part?

Anyone.

  • Organisations can organise an event that combines a hike in nature (or urban areas) with a clean-up activity.
  • Individuals can take part simply by going on a hike and picking up litter they find along the way.

Both can register their kilometres walked and kilograms of waste collected in our Move4Nature calculator.

Our mission is to make our home, Europe, cleaner and healthier than it is today. Move4Nature encourages Europeans to be regularly active while also caring for the environment we all share.
